User activity shows the total time that users have been actively interacting with devices. Unlike other sections, the analysis focuses on the user, regardless of the devices they have used. The same user may have had sessions on several devices, and all that activity is reflected in aggregate form. This analysis lets you:
  • Assess the actual level of usage per user.
  • Identify users with low or high activity.
  • Analyze usage patterns across different devices.
Data is updated daily at 12:00 (UTC); for this reason, data for the current month may show a slight deviation.

Main fields

  • User. User name in the format domain\user.
  • Workspace. Name of the device used.
    • It is clickable and lets you access its detail view.
    • If it is not clickable, the device has been deleted.
  • Report group. Name of the Report group to which the device belongs.
  • User active time. Time during which the user has actively interacted with the device.
  • Month. Number of the month the information belongs to (for example, March = 3).
  • Year. Year corresponding to the data shown.

By clicking Choose columns, you can add additional fields:
  • Report time. Time devices have been powered on (reporting).
  • Open session time. Time during which devices have had an open user session, regardless of activity.
  • Deletion date. Date on which the device was deleted, if applicable.

Available filters

The table records can be filtered by the following criteria: user-predefilter
  • Report group. Lets you choose the Report group whose information you want to view.
  • Period. Lets you define the time interval for the data shown.
  • User active time. Lets you filter results based on the user’s interaction hours.
  • Deleted workspaces. Lets you include or exclude deleted devices from the results.
We recommend using data corresponding to complete months to correctly interpret the metrics and avoid incorrect conclusions.
