FlexxAgent can be deployed centrally on macOS devices through Microsoft Intune. This method automates agent installation and manages its distribution across the organization’s devices. Before starting the deployment, we recommend reviewing the FlexxAgent for macOS documentation to understand the agent’s requirements and features on macOS.

Requirements

Before starting the deployment:
  • macOS devices must be enrolled in Microsoft Intune.
  • You must have the FlexxAgent installation script (.sh).

Download the installation script

The agent is distributed for macOS through an installation script. To obtain it:
  1. Download FlexxAgent from the platform.
  2. Get the installation file with the .sh extension. sh-mac

Configure the deployment in Microsoft Intune

Once the installation script has been downloaded:
  1. Sign in to the Microsoft Intune admin center.
  2. In the side menu, go to DevicesmacOS.
  3. Under Manage devices, select Scripts.
  4. Create a new script.
  5. Complete the configuration by following the steps below.

    Configure the script and upload the FlexxAgent .sh file. 2mac-intune

    Scope tags

    Configure the scope tags that correspond to the organization. 3mac-intune

    Assignments

    Select the user or device groups the installation script will be assigned to. 4mac-intune
  6. Review the configuration and create the script.

Verify the installation

Once the script has run on the assigned devices, check that FlexxAgent has been installed correctly. Devices where the agent has been installed and registered correctly will appear on the platform.
